A farmer came into town and asked the owner of a restaurant if he would use a million frog legs.
The restaurant owner was shocked and asked the man where he could get so many frog legs! The farmer replied, 'There is a pond near my house that is full of frogs - millions of them. They all croak all night long and they are about to make me crazy!'
So the restaurant owner and the farmer made an agreement that the farmer would deliver frogs to the restaurant, five hundred at a time for the next several weeks.
The first week, the farmer returned to the restaurant looking rather sheepish, with two scrawny little frogs. The restaurant owner said, 'Well.... where are all the frogs?' The farmer said, 'I was mistaken. There were only these two frogs in the pond. But they were making a lot of noise!'
Next time you hear somebody criticizing or making fun of you, remember, it's probably just a couple of noisy frogs. Also remember that problems always seem bigger in the dark. Have you ever laid in your bed at night worrying about things which seem almost overwhelming like a million frogs croaking? Chances are pretty good that when the morning comes, and you take a closer look, you'll wonder what all the fuss was about. You can't please everyone, don't let criticism worry you.

Wow! This is SO true! I have ONE tikui that is bugging me in my life and if only i can chop off its legs, tails and every body part, my life will be peaceful again :P
"You can't please everyone, don't let criticism worry you", it's such a good advice. One self determines his/her own happiness :)

Oh thank you I really needed to read that. 2 noisy frogs sound like hundreds when you let them worry you, that is just how a couple of people critizing you feels.
It depends on the kind of criticism i receive. There are good ways and bad ways to give criticism.As long as the person criticises me explains it well and their explanation is valid, then i'll try to deal with it positively.

Haihh... some people are really like snakes...u kno the story of Adam and Eve? Where the snake tempt Eve to go against God and dis so many things to destroy others just because it's jealous of Adam and Eve being in Garden of Eden? Well, alot people are like that... and most of them are highly deceptive in looks... outside, appear damn good... sweet, kind, a complete angel, but inside... tsk tsk tsk...the heart stinks...will do anything to backstab or front stab ppl. Ish ish ish. Frogs are still ok lah, bananaz... at least easy to catch to cook porridge... but snakes? Eyewww.... poisonous, venomous...wanna catch to cook oso very hard, it slithers away so fast!

I can still remember those days when I stayed at the countryside, I used to hear the frogs croaking loudly for the whole night whenever the rain stops. They were really noisy and I thought there was a whole army of them croaking and croaking into the night. Now, which is better, real croaking frogs or those jumping, hopping political frogs?
